Whilst it was a bit sad to see mother and father duck try in vain to save their ducklings from the Swamp Harrier, it was nonetheless exciting to capture this life and death struggle on camera.
Whilst I am happy with the footage, I can imagine how this footage would have looked if the scene was half as close again. One day I might get the chance to film this type of scene much closer.
The Swamp Harrier is a bird which interests me greatly and one I would love to film at a swamp where they can reliably be seen hunting. If you can help in any way, I would love to hear from you.
